2017 Margaret River Malbec

Described by many as the “black wine”, the 2017 Malbec is deep and dark with a vibrancy of colour. The palate is bold, juicy & youthful showing great length. Generous fruit flavours of dark plum & cherry with a touch of spice and soft tannins are characteristics of this excep-tional wine.

The Malbec fruit was harvested at optimum baumé, then crushed and fermented on skins until dry. After pressing, secondary fermentation was completed in new & used French oak hogsheads for ageing and flavour development prior to bottling.

The 2017 Malbec would age beyond 5 years with careful cellaring.
