General Information and Conditions

The Venue

Chapel Farm is situated in the Swan Valley and its breathtaking views will make you think that you have taken a step back into yesteryear.
With its warm, intimate atmosphere and its unique charm, Chapel Farm is the perfect venue for your wedding reception. Overlooking our lake, waterfalls, natural fields of pasture and with the backdrop of the hills, it will be a reception you and your friends will remember for a lifetime.
Chapel Farm has the following areas that can be used for your wedding reception:

• Inside that caters for up to 60 people sit down
• Semi enclosed courtyard & verandah that caters for up to 200 people sit down (heated in winter)
• Lake area that caters for up to 100 people sit down
• Waterfall area that caters for up to 80 people sit down

Minimum guest numbers of 70 apply for Fridays & Saturdays and 50 for Sunday s during peak season (October – April)
Appointments are recommended to view our premises.

Catering

With our unique huge BBQ, our 4.2m jarrah wok table, our stainless steel hibachi and the touch of a crazy chef, we can offer a combination of menus that will truly make your wedding reception one to remember. Some of the menus on offer are as follows:

• Set Menus from $53.00
• Courtyard Feasts from $48.00
• Gourmet BBQ Menu from $43.00
• Cocktail Menu from $40.00

Children under 12 years of age can choose from either our kid’s menu or the above and charged at 50% of the above rates. If children are having a set menu the same as the adults they are charged at full price.
If you intend catering for your photographer and/or DJ /Band it is required they be included in the final number attending.

Wedding Ceremonies

There are two locations at Chapel Farm where wedding ceremonies can be held depending on the time and season of the year.

Garden/Waterfall Area

Lake Area

There are also great locations around Chapel Farm for great photo shoots. Depending on the season and time of the ceremony a charge of $100 every hour prior to 6:00pm will apply. 20 white chairs, a table and two chairs for signing are provided.

Beverages

We offer a large selection of wine, spirits & 69 types of beer, all at very competitive prices.
Beverages are charged on a consumption basis or drinks packages are available. Chapel Farm is fully licensed and hence no BYO beverages are permitted.  Please advise your guests. Children are charged at half price on drink packages.

Bookings

Tentative bookings will be held for fourteen days, and unless you inform us otherwise, the booking will automatically cancel after that time. To confirm your reservation, we require that a non-refundable deposit of $1000 be paid. Minimum numbers are applicable during peak season and a charge will be involved if numbers drop below minimums (see page 1). (minimum charge $67.00pp)

Venue Hire

Venue Hire gives you exclusive use of Chapel Farm.. The below rates are to be used as a guide for your budgeting purposes. We treat each wedding on an individual basis depending on needs and requirements due to uniqueness of the venue. Please feel free to discuss your complete function requirements with our function coordinator.

Exclusive use of either the restaurant or courtyard only is subject to numbers and menus chosen and may be charged at 50%.  Our special facility license allows us to serve liquor strictly between the hours of 10am to 12pm.

Special Requirements

Special requirements can be catered for if sufficient notice is given (allowing for the nature of the requirement). Any special requirements regarding menus or dietary needs must be notified no later than 14 days prior to wedding. We cannot cater for these individuals on the evening without prior notification. Additional costs involved will be passed onto the customer with a 10% surcharge. A set up fee will apply for any decorating or setup outside the normal requirements. Wheelchair access is available.

Final Confirmation of Arrangements

Food & beverage details are to be finalised 14 days prior to the function date. Final numbers are to be confirmed 14 days prior to the event. Should the guest numbers on the day be less than the confirmed number, you will be charged at the confirmed rate given 14 days prior to the event.
The total food bill and the estimated beverage consumption are to be paid 14 days prior to the function date by cash, eft or cheque. The balance is to be settled on the night of the function unless by prior arrangement.
Please note that there will be a 2% surcharge for payment by credit card (Visa, Bankcard or MasterCard). We regret that Diners Card and American Express are not accepted.

Accommodation

Chapel Farm Getaways contains 6 themed accommodation units with either king or queen size beds, private bathrooms, lounge, tv/dvd, coffee/tea, & mini bar available. We also have a 3 bedroom self contained “Love Shack”.  These units are first offered to bridal parties. If you chose to take them you will be required to pay the full amount at the time of booking. We cannot hold rooms for bridal parties or their guests. Accommodation prices are subject to change without notification.

 Cancellations

Chapel Farm would share in your disappointment if your wedding were cancelled. However all cancellations must be received in writing and the following strictly adhered to:

• Cancellations will not be entitled to any refund of deposit
• We reserve the right to charge a fee of the estimated total cost of the wedding as follows:

• Cancellation within 30-59 days – 25%
• Cancellation within 14-29 days – 50%
• Cancellation within 13 Days to 24 hours – 100%

DJ Services

We highly recommend the services of Phillip Clair – 0412 110 350. Phil  offers  a special rate of $650.00 for 6 hours, $100.00 ph after.
If other DJ’s are used, a compliance form will need to be completed 2 weeks prior to the wedding to assist with noise restrictions.
Please note that catering is provided free of charge for Phil.

Linen & Table Decorations

As each wedding is taken on an individual basis, linen is an extra cost and is listed below. For black, cream or ivory, an additional charge may apply. Table decorations to be provided by the bridal couple or we can arrange to have them hired. Candles must be of top quality and any damage to linen will be charged to the bridal couple. We reserve the right to blow out candles if they are causing damage.

Bridal table with skirt 4-6 @ $60.00, 8 -12guests @ $120.00

Heavy duty round wedding table cloths- white @ $12.00 ea

Cake, ceremony & present tables @ $10.00 ea

 Chair covers & sash @ $5.00 - $5.50 ea

Price Increases & Menu Changes

Prices quoted are current at the time of printing and every endeavor is made to maintain these prices. Menus may also be modified without notice. These are subject to change at the management’s discretion to allow for market cost variations and the introduction of any new statutory charges. Prices are subject to change without notification.

Responsibility and Damage

Chapel Farm does not take any responsibility for the loss or damage to guest’s property. Any damage costs to linen & property that is directly related to the function will be passed onto the bridal couple.
