Function Information & Conditions
The Venue
Chapel Farm is located in the Swan Valley, 5 minutes from Midland and 25 minutes from Perth CBD.
From handcrafted Toodyay stonewalls and the warmth of Jarrah throughout our complex, you will think that you have taken a step back into yesteryear. Overlooking our landscaped lake, waterfalls, natural fields of pasture and with the backdrop of the hills, it is an ideal place for your function.
Chapel Farm has the following areas that can be used for group functions:
- Inside that caters for up to a maximum 60 people sit down
- Semi enclosed courtyard that caters for up to 200 people sit down
- Lake area that caters for up to 100 people sit down
- Upper & lower pit area that caters for up to 100 people sit down
Restaurant Policies
All menus are subject to minimum numbers (see individual menus) and will be charged accordingly.
- Some alterations in menus may incur extra charges.
- Food & Beverage details to be finalized strictly 14 days prior to the function. Please note any DEITARY needs must be in to us by this time. We cannot cater for these individuals on the evening without prior notification.
- Final guest numbers are to be confirmed strictly 7 days prior to the event. Changes in numbers of 10 or more guests (increasing or decreasing) must be notified at least 14 days prior. If guest numbers are less than the confirmed number, you will be charged at the confirmed rate.
- Total food & drinks to be paid 7 days prior to the even by cash or cheque. A 2% surcharge applies for payment by credit card.
- With large functions we cannot cater for individual desserts/tea/coffee without prior notification (see individual menus)
- Due to licensing laws the removal of alcohol from these premises is not allowed. Please do not put our staff in an uncomfortable position.
- Any cancellation within 30 days will not be entitled to a refund. We reserve the right to charge a fee of the estimated total cost of the function as follows:
- Within 3-7 Days – 50%
- Within 72 Hours – 100%
Catering
With our unique huge BBQ, our 4.2m jarrah wok table, our stainless steel hibachi and the touch of a crazy chef, we can offer a combination of menu’s that will truly make your function one to remember. Some of the menus on offer are as follows.
- Courtyard Feast starting from $40.00
- Set Menus starting from $28.00
- BBQ & Wok Menus from $25.00 (we strongly recommend adding dessert & tea/coffee to these menus)
- Cocktail Menus from $25.00
Menu’s are subject to minimum numbers as detailed on the menu. Some menu's are not available during peak times in December.
Children under 12 years of age can choose from our kids’ menu or from the above and are charged at 50% of the above rates.
Here at Chapel Farm we have no problem with you bringing in your own cake for special occasions. However, please note an automatic 50c per person charge will be added to your bill.
Beverages
We offer a large selection of wines & spirits & 69 types of beer, all at very competitive prices. Our special facility license allows us to serve liquor strictly between the hours of 10am to 1am.
Beverages are charged on a consumption basis. Chapel Farm is fully licensed and hence NO BYO beverages are permitted. Under Liquor Licensing Acts the removal of alcohol from our premises is not allowed.
Drink packages are available on a 3 to 4 hour basis, subject to numbers, menu chosen and time of year.
Bookings
Tentative bookings will be held for fourteen (14) days.
To confirm your reservation, we require that a non-refundable deposit of $500 (over 50 people) or $200 (20 – 50 people) to be paid within 14 days. Unless deposit is received or you inform us otherwise, your booking will automatically be cancelled after that time.
Public Holidays
Please note that a 10% surcharge is applicable on public holidays.
Final Confirmation of Arrangements
Food & beverage details are to be finalised 14 days prior to the function date. Changes in numbers of 10 or more guests (increasing or decreasing) must be notified at least 14 days prior. Final numbers are to be confirmed 7 days prior to the event and will be charged accordingly.
The total food bill, drinks packages and/or the estimated beverage consumption are to be paid 7 days prior to the function date by cash or cheque. The balance is to be settled on the night of the function unless by prior arrangement.
Please note that there will be a 2% surcharge for payment by credit card (Visa, Bankcard or MasterCard). We regret that Diners Card and American Express are not accepted.
Please note that should the guest numbers on the day be less than the confirmed number, you will be charged at the confirmed rate.
Cancellations
- All deposits are non-refundable. Any cancellation, no matter what the given situation, we will not refund the deposit. We reserve the right to charge a fee of the estimated total cost of the function as follows:
- Within 3-7 Days – 50%
- Within 72 Hours – 100%
Price Increases
Prices & menus quoted are current at the time of printing and every endeavor is made to maintain these prices and menus. However, they are subject to change at the management’s discretion to allow for market cost variations and the introduction of any new statutory charges.
